DailyASL - Alphabet


Learning the ASL alphabet is very helpful as you are learning ASL, if you communicate with people in sign language. Most people that know ASL also know English, so if necessary you can spell a word.

Note that this image shows the alphabet as you would see it if someone else signed it, not as it would look to you when you are signing it. For example, if you are signing the letter 'A', you will see the back of your hand, and the person you are signing to will see your fingers.
